MANOWAR: két évtized után visszatérnek Magyarországra!
The influential heavy metal band Manowar will return to Hungary on Saturday, January 23, 2027, when they will perform the entire Fighting the World album live in Budapest. Joey DeMaio and the band will take the stage at the Papp László Budapest Sport Arena as part of a tour built around their iconic Kings of Metal and Fighting the World albums.
Since their formation in 1980, Manowar’s songs have served as a powerful point of connection for generations of fans. For more than four decades, the band has consistently represented the strength of classic heavy metal, monumental stage productions and a strong sense of community. Their career has been marked by numerous gold and platinum records, as well as more than 40 world tours. Manowar’s devoted global fanbase, known as the Army of Immortals, continues to embody the loyalty, perseverance and passion that have defined the world of Manowar from the very beginning.
The newly announced January concert will be a particularly special occasion for Hungarian fans. It will mark Manowar’s first performance in Budapest in more than two decades, and the band will play the entire Fighting the World album from the opening track to the final song. The set will also feature further Manowar classics, while a brand-new, large-scale and spectacular stage production will complete the experience.
“This album belongs in Budapest! A thousand-year-old capital that has survived occupation, siege and upheaval, and has always risen again. A city and a people who refuse to fall, whatever the cost—that is the very same spirit that Fighting the World is about,” said Joey DeMaio, who also addressed the fan community:
“The loyalty of the Hungarian Army of Immortals has never faded. In January 2027, we will return to Budapest to stand side by side once again.”
Fans can join the community through manowar.com. Free membership provides access to exclusive content, early news, merchandise pre-order opportunities and a 10% welcome discount at the official MANOWAR Store.
The tour arriving next year will focus on two landmark Manowar albums, Kings of Metal and Fighting the World. At some tour stops, one album will be performed in full, while at others the second record will take centre stage, complemented by further metal anthems from the band’s catalogue. The concept continues the format introduced during the previous concert series, which celebrated Hail to England and Sign of the Hammer.
Tickets for the concert are already on sale and can also be upgraded with the limited-availability Ultimate Experience VIP package. This is the band’s most exclusive and personal concert experience, with further information available through the official MANOWAR channels.
